QuickFix Security (“we”, “our”, “the site”) respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what data we collect when you visit quickfixappli.com and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email info@quickfixappli.com and we will try to explain better.
Who we are
Our website address is https://quickfixappli.com. The site is operated from the mailing address on our contact page.
Information we collect
Comments
When you leave a comment, we collect what you type in the form, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent string. These help us fight spam. An anonymized hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar so a profile image can be displayed next to your comment. Gravatar’s policy is here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
Contact form and email
If you email us directly, we keep your message for as long as we need to respond and follow up. We do not add email addresses to marketing lists without your clear consent.
Cookies
We set a small number of first-party cookies. WordPress uses them to remember your comment name and email if you choose that option, and to keep you logged in if you have an account. We do not use advertising cookies. If analytics are enabled, they are configured to anonymize IP addresses.
Server logs
Our web host keeps standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, URL requested, HTTP status, and user-agent. These are rotated on a reasonable schedule and used only for troubleshooting and security monitoring.
Who we share data with
Nobody, unless we are legally required to. We do not sell reader data, and we do not run ad networks that profile you across the web.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Email info@quickfixappli.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Residents of the EU, UK, and certain US states (including California) have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar laws; we honor those requests regardless of where you live.
Data retention
Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow-up replies still make sense in context. You can request removal at any time.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, when the change is significant, note it in a blog post.
